How Play Hard Recreation started

After 20-plus years selling commercial playgrounds, founder Robert Rivard saw a need for a turf company serving the spaces where people play. About six years ago, that need became Play Hard Recreation.
Today, we work with playground companies, builders, schools, HOAs, churches, parks & recreation departments, and commercial customers on turf and surfacing projects. Our 20-plus years in commercial playground sales gave us a deep understanding of our customers’ needs. We built Play Hard Recreation around that understanding, bringing a customer-focused approach to every turf and surfacing project.
